MyGamerCard closes its doors

Thursday, March 10th, 2011

Very sad to see today that mygamercard.net have had to close their site. After 5years of providing the xbox community with decent looking embeddable gamercards, they’ve made the tough decision to close the site. So why would a successful site decide to close it’s doors? Morton (founder) tells us: “love for the community has been Read the Rest

Ah.. its good to be back

Saturday, February 26th, 2011

Had ourselves a little red eye session last night, and whilst not many of u showed up we still had lotsa fun. Gettin back into Halo Reach was tough on all of us, and took a couple of rounds to remember the controls properly. At first the Halo servers were acting up, so we all Read the Rest

Back to the Future games: not on Xbox

Friday, February 25th, 2011

I’ve gota admit I was pretty gutted when I realised we weren’t gona get this on Xbox. TellTale games are producing a 5 part series game of back to the future. First thing that strikes you is it’s heavily animated in a kids ‘toy-story’ kinda way and the lip-syncing is flippin terrible. Still I loved Read the Rest

Monday, February 21st, 2011

The Sony fanboys always give us a hard time bout paying for our Xbox Live subscriptions. They boast that the PSN (PlayStation network) is free and just as good. Sony, like Microsoft, are serious about trying to clamp down on modded consoles, as the main reason people do this is to play pirated games. Recently Read the Rest

Friday, February 18th, 2011

Anyone who’s been gaming as long as me will already know who this guy is. For those of you who are under 25, this is Duke Nukem. We used to play Duke Nukem back on the Sega Megadrive over a decade ago. But after 12years they’re back with a new game! Makes you wonder what Read the Rest

Kinect Hack: use as a TV remote

Wednesday, February 16th, 2011

The most exciting thing about Kinect is not the games, but the possibilities… I love finding videos like this where people are making the Kinect technology work for them. This guy could be a little more confident of what he’s built and it’s obvious it’d need some tweaking before you’d consider using it yourself, but the fact Read the Rest
