Assassin’s creed 2 has just been released on both the xbox360 and the ps3. When the first game was released a couple of years back, there was a notable difference in quality with the ps3 failin to perform to the same standards as the Xbox, but this has been fixed this time round, with both versions producing almost identical results.

The last game was great, not awesome but great. The graphics were pretty sweet, but the gameplay became repetative, goin through the same as missions, performing the same kills. Whilst the new game looks very impressive, i hope they spice it up a bit…

Price – well of course lots of retailers put this out at £40+, avoid them! You should be able to pick this up for around £35 new if you hunt around the internet a bit. With the style of this game being soley a story mode, you can bet within a month people will hav completed it and there’lb a flood of used copies on ebay, just in time for christmas, excellent.

This promises to be a great story to get into, and with seriously impressive graphics and locations, a perfect game to get stuck into over the christmas holidays.
