This is a quick tutorial on how to transfer mp3s from your ipod to your PC, using Windows search.

Either watch the video, or follow through these steps.

1. Open itunes and make sure your ipod is enabled for disk use.

2. Hold the ‘windows key‘ (its between Ctrl and Alt) and press ‘F‘

3. Change the search location to your ipod, and make sure it’s goin to search hidden files and folders too.

4. Make sure your Explorer is showing Hidden files.

5. Type in Track Name, Artist or Album Title and search ipod.

6. Files apear with random filenames so right click to view options and show ‘title’ ‘album’ artist’.

7. Select and drag the files you want onto your desktop or music folder.

8. Add these files to your itunes library to view all their track names and info as normal.
